Closing a periodic inspection auto-creates the next one.

Some inspections repeat on a fixed schedule — daily, weekly, monthly. In goiso you don't re-create them by hand each time: closing a periodic inspection automatically creates the next one.

How it works

  1. When you create the inspection, pick a recurring type that has a frequency in days.
  2. Move the card through the board columns: Scheduled → In progress → Completed.
  3. The moment you complete it, a new inspection is born as "Scheduled", set a frequency out, preloaded with the same checklist.

Details that matter

  • The next cycle is counted from the completion date + the frequency.
  • The creation happens inside your own action, not as faceless automation — so the audit trail carries a real actor.
  • Reopening and re-completing does not duplicate the inspection; a guard prevents stacking copies.

The result is an unbroken loop — no round is ever forgotten.
