Sweeping and evidence verification
Sweeping is the Advisor reading your evidence file by file, leaving a color-coded verdict on each one.
When it runs
- Automatically every night: it reads every piece of evidence uploaded since yesterday (once per file). Included in your subscription, no operation count.
- On demand: the "Sweep board now" button in the board header (or "Review clause evidence" inside a clause card). This opens a view showing each file as it's read, with its verdict landing immediately.
The three verdicts
- 🟢 Green: the evidence proves the claim.
- 🟡 Amber: needs a human eye — review it yourself.
- 🔴 Red: does not prove the claim.
Every verdict comes with a one-sentence reason. A flagged note cannot be deleted — otherwise every inconvenient verdict would just get erased.
A gate with no cost
Video files, and formats that need extraction (Word/Excel), are immediately marked "needs your eye" without spending any operation.
Large documents (over 50 pages)
A document longer than 50 pages is beyond free automatic review — it isn't left blocked, though; it's flagged with a call to action: request a summary. The "Summarize" button on the file has the Advisor read the entire document and leave a verdict plus a structured one-to-two-page summary, with every point anchored to its page number, along with a "Download PDF" button. This is an on-demand operation billed by the document's page count (it isn't free like the nightly sweep) — so you're shown the page count and how many operations it will cost before it runs.
Limits
- Sweeping only checks three things: the evidence's relevance, completeness, and consistency. When in doubt, it leaves "needs your eye."
- The sweep button is disabled when there's no new evidence ("all evidence verified").
